Oh BABY! Two New Must-Haves from AngelCare + BabyHome

As a mama, I adore looking back on when my kids were little babies. What parent doesn’t?! As a baby, they’re so dependent on you and you just want to hand them the world. They need you for everything and that responsibility can feel overwhelming at times especially in this crazy world we live in now. I remember struggling to make my mind up when buying little things such as a binky because it just had to be the perfect one. Eventually, we all get to the point where we know what to grab and it truly doesn’t become a second thought. However, because we get used to the products we’ve been using with our children, we often miss the new and amazing products that are being released every day.

My husband and I have always bought the best products on the market we could find for our children simply because we have always wanted to keep them safe. We don’t have babies anymore but we do have toddlers which means they can get into predicaments even quicker. I assure you, you’ll want to keep that baby monitor until they move out of the house! We use an Angelcare Baby Monitor (AC310 model) which has been a dream. Not only can it display the temperature of the room it’s placed in, but it has a huge touch-screen video monitor that's crisp and bright. That means when you hear a sound, instead of having to crawl out of bed to go check, a quick glance at the monitor will let you know the baby is fine. On the other hand, if you have toddlers like me and they get quiet, you can take a glance to see if they’re getting themselves into trouble or not. The image quality is crystal clear, even at night.

Tucked deep into the troves of the boys bookcase, is where we keep the camera. Believe it or not, they don't touch it!

We've been trying out the AC310 for the past few weeks and overall I can say that we really do love it. The camera does have some bright lights that can be distracting to an infant, but are not an issue for our toddler boys. I love that it can be mounted on the wall or placed on a shelf, though the wire does seem a little short if you were to choose to hang it. It also gets FANTASTIC range. It's the only monitor we've owned that we can take all the way outside and have no trouble with reception. Overall, it's been a lifesaver for us every night and has provided great piece of mind since our boys are not only capable of getting out of their bunk beds, but also the door to their room. For the price, it's a great monitor and I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try. There are so many more features with this monitor that we loved but it would be a long list. Although some of the amazing features of a monitor are no longer needed when your babies get older, having a monitor around the house with toddlers is still extremely useful. Plus, it’s sold just about everywhere that’s convenient (i.e. Amazon, buybuybaby online, and Babies "R" Us in stores and online).

One thing that I still find myself doing is making note of all the amazing and extremely useful baby products that are released. Truly, there are so many that it’s hard to keep up. The technology and designs that have been created with your baby in mind blow me away daily. Even though I have toddlers who were just babies not many years ago, there are still items around now that I wish were around then. For example, I've completely fallen in love with the BabyHome Bouncer Seat. Their design is definitely more unique and comforting than the traditional bouncer seats on the market. I love that it’s adjustable with a modern clean design and not to mention, it can easily collapse and be stored in a small space. Did I mention that the fabric is removeable and washable? Amazing, I know. I have to say that my favorite aspect is the slight rocking chair design and it's super light-weight which makes it easy to move all around the house with one hand. I'm in love with the fact that it can seamlessly fit in with the rest of my decor and actually accentuate the space with it's clean lines. You would never expect that from a bouncy chair!

We're planning more babies, but in the meantime I'll be shopping for everyone else I know. Being somewhat of a pro now two kids deep, I'm aware of only purchasing things that can make your life easier. Both of these products do exactly that! I definitely recommend branching out from the traditional registry items and see what amazing products are out there. I guarantee you will have your mind blown by the innovations occurring in the baby industry! Even in such a short time, things have progressed far beyond when Hudson was just a little guy and that was only 2 years ago. I'm excited to shop for the next one!

What are some new and amazing baby products that you have discovered recently? I want to know!

I love this! We have a fairly new baby in the family. I am sure her mommy would be very interested in this.

We used a BabyHome bassinet for our last baby, and I just adored it. It was practical and so adorable. Looks like the bouncer is great too!

Is it sad that I really one of these? Not to monitor kids (we don’t have any) but to keep an eye on our pets, lol

My kids are at an age where I could still use a monitor but a bouncer is not needed. I sure wish video monitors would have been available when they were little!!
