Hair 101 with Hask

beauty HASK product review

If there's one thing I love, it's beauty products. I'm a sucker for trying new things that will not only solve my beauty dilemmas, but will also live up to their hype. With the amount of items now on the market making claims to turn you into Beyoncé, it's more important than ever to get a good honest review because let's be real, they all can't make you into a superstar.

One of my favorite hair products is Hask Haircare (you can see my other Hask review here!), so when they approached me to review their new Biotin Boost collection, I was so excited.

If you've been wanting thick, voluminous hair this new Biotin Boost Thickening Collection is definitely for you. The Biotin Boost Thickening Collection is FREE of: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten and artificial colors. The main ingredients are biotin, coffee, and collagen. Biotin helps strengthen, volumize and thicken to maintain hair health. Coffee stimulates the hair follicles helping to boost strands. Collagen helps strengthen and fortify the hair shaft to protect from damage and breakage.

The Biotin Boost Thickening Shampoo transforms fine, flat strands into fabulously fuller hair! This shampoo works on three levels to help deliver volume — featuring biotin to help hair look thicker, collagen to fortify locks, and coffee to help boost strands. Go big or go home!

The Biotin Boost Thickening Conditioner gives fine, flat strands the boost they crave. This conditioner helps promote thicker-looking hair with biotin for volume, collagen for strength, and coffee to help boost strands. It gently detangles to leave hair feeling soft and manageable.

The Biotin Boost Thickening Cream pumps up flat, lifeless strands with this lightweight, thickening cream. A plumping trio of biotin, collagen and coffee helps enhance the appearance of thicker hair — strands never feel heavy, sticky or stiff. Hair bounces with healthy shine, visible volume and luxurious lift!

My hair is a little on the thick side and it worked for me. I think it's probably more conducive to fine hair, but this can be used on all hair types. The fragrance is probably my least favorite out of their collections, but that's the only down-side. The pros definitely outweigh the cons with these products. I tend to say this about all Hask products that I try, but they really are that good and I'll most likely buy them again!

I was also sent the Argan Oil 5-in-1 Leave-In Spray to try as well. All I can say is that if you want to repair years of damage due to coloring and high ponytails (like me!) this product is for you. It left my hair smooth and shiny and over time it apparently helps with the healthiness of your hair. It's now a must have in my hair routine!

If you're an ULTA junkie like me, the great news is this new collection is an exclusive at their stores! The Argan Oil 5-in-1 Leave-In Spray is available at Ulta Beauty and Walgreens. Also make sure to check out the Hask Instagram for tips & advice on hair styling + beauty products.

This sounds like a great line! I like that it doesn’t have sulfates or parabens. I would love to try the Argan Oil leave in spray. My hair is really curly so it is naturally dry so I need to put a lot of product in it to keep it soft and manageable.

My hair has been horrible throughout the summer and could definitely use a pick me up. This line sounds perfect, especially since I tend to lack volume.

That argan spray sounds like something I need to try. I do have some hair damage.

After a tiring battle with an autoimmune disorder, my hair was left limp and looking lifeless. I need to try Biotin Boost Thickening Collection to see if it can breathe new life into my locks. It does sound like a wonderful line of products.
